    Preach it!! Whenever I hear or see a quote about “X% of insert demographic” I immediately think “what was the sample size, demographics, year, etc… of this study? Show me the raw data, SHOW ME THE NUMBERS!” So you are definitely not alone in your outrage at flippant/shallow opinion pieces.

    The reason they are saying this is they are becoming irrelevant in our social media environment….if you are not in this medium…and only living in the old style of advertising….see how that has worked for companies like JC Penney, Sears, K-Mart ect…..people live with their phones, tablets etc….I believe they are just bitter that this is the future…..keep doing what you are doing….!!!

    You made some good points. It’s a long vid, I watched it in two parts but I like this format. I really like listening to your voice. Even when you think you are ‘ranting’ you still sound even keeled.

    55:55 “you have a Latina, White, Black … different ads … that has a different person that can relate to that demographic.” I want our world to solve the problem of relatability depending on race. What’s the best way for me to follow this marketing advice today, without a fear that I’m becoming part of the problem?
